As a New York native, I have always been surrounded by the world of fashion and design. Creating beautiful spaces with simplicity and efficiency in mind is something that has always been second nature to me. Likewise, my home has always been the touchstone for clarity and tranquility in my life.

 

In years past, Kept has operated as a “turn-key” design company, but I always found myself frustrated -- I was constantly encountering potential clients who just couldn’t afford my services. I found more and more that I wanted to make design possible for the people who needed it the most. I wanted to make it possible for the mother of two who juggles work, family, and her household. I wanted to make it possible for the family who just sent their last child off to college and finally have the time to do something for themselves. I wanted to make it possible for the recent graduate who just got her first real job and first apartment. EVERYONE, no matter their lifestyle, deserves a haven as their home. So, I needed to find a way to offer my interior design services at an affordable price. Everyone deserves a professionally designed home without any nonsense or egos involved.  It’s simple - my belief is that professional interior design should not be a reserved as a luxury for a select few.

With online design, I have altered the design process slightly, but have been able to stay committed to offering high quality custom designs. Thankfully, technology allows me to get to know my clients just as I always have. As my client, I am able to see you, meet your family and take a tour of your home almost as if we are in person. Together, we will transform your existing space -- in the end, you will have the professionally designed room of your dreams. The traditional approach to interior design and the personal experience that it provides was never something I was willing to compromise. I am proud to say that with a little bit of innovation and the use of modern technology I am able to offer a service to people who would have never been able to afford it before.
